Assignment:
Write to the Director of Nutrition at McDonald’s Corporation. Introduce yourself and tell why you are writing. Explain your assignment and tell the director that you are taking on the role of a nutritionist. Request information on the nutritional value of all their food items, and ask that he send you booklets, pamphlets, and websites that would be helpful. Make sure that you indicate that you have a deadline (Dec. 14th). End your letter with a thank you and a closing thought.

You call the 1-800 number on the statement for customer service, and the person who takes your call rudely tells you that you were mistaken about the terms of the initial offer, and that you must pay the 4.9% interest rate.

Assignment:
