Outlines are due @ end of exam period.

Finished guided notes over Analyzing Twain’s Conclusion. I introduced the theme paragraph assignment (handouts in folder). Students began working on their outlines.

Work on Shane Ch. 14 study guide questions.

I checked Shane Ch. 11-13 study guide ?s, and we went over them in class. We began reading and discussing Ch. 14.

Complete novel and role sheet for final discussion.

Students met in lit. circles for Discussion #7. Then chose final roles and picked up new role sheets.

I checked Huck Finn Ch. XXXVII-Ch. the Last study guide questions, and we went over them. Students took guided notes (in folder) over Analyzing Twain’s Conclusion to Huck Finn (power point).
