Students silently read Shane Ch. 11 (p. 743-749). I gave students copies of Ch. 12 & 13 (in folder) to  have read by Wed. Gave 7th copies of exam study guide (in folder). Told them they can use 3×5 index card, but must be in their own handwriting.

Complete reading assignment and role sheet for Discussion #6.

Students met in lit. circles for Discussion #5. Then, they decided next reading assignment, chose new roles, and picked up new role sheets.
