DOL Week 3, Day 4. Using yesterday’s practice web, we started writing a practice outline for an 11-sentence paragraph. Collected webs from students.

DOL Week 3, Day 2. Went over Vocab. Ex. 2 (4th only). Reviewed Workplace Writing & Business Letters. Went over Writing Guidelines: Business Letters (Writer’s Inc p. 324) & Fair Language (Writer’s Inc. p. 561-563). Began writing business letter #1.

Journal – Vocab. Ex. V – Writing on p. 65 (use 5 vocab. words from Lessons 1-7 & at least 1 word from Lesson 7). I continued checking outlines while students worked on journals, TKAM Intro. Act. wksht., or Vocab. sentences.

HW: Vocab. sentences 

Reviewed Writing Process & 11-Sentence Paragraph notes.  Practiced brainstorming/webbing.
